Helping to Fight Cancer – eBadges

We’re proud to announce a winning combo which is helping raise the profile of a national cancer charity. eBadges has been supporting CoppaFeel!, a high-energy organisation working tirelessly to empower every young person within the UK to be proactive about their own health and body.

Badges and boobs go gloriously together – and we’ve been busy beavering away, supplying ready-made badges for CoppaFeel! – these are being used to help create awareness amongst youngsters, with the aim of instilling a new healthy habit of regular boob checking that could one day save their life.

“It’s all about knowing your boobs; knowing that if you do find something, you know what to do and if found early, you have many options,” explains Natalie Kelly, CoppaFeel! Chief Executive. “Put simply, breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported, we will do all we can do make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.”

“Too many women, and men, die of breast cancer due to late detection. Currently over 2,000 cases are diagnosed at stage 4 each year – there is no stage 5. This is unnecessary. We strongly believe all young people should be taught about all cancers and how to lead healthy lives from a young age,” adds Natalie.

“eBadges is a small, family-run business, and we always enjoy working with organisations that are committed to such an excellent cause as this one. Over the past few years  we have produced many badges for CoppaFeel! and hope to continue to do so in the future,” explains Philippa Vear, joint Owner of eBadges.

“In addition to supporting CoppaFeel! and their fight against breast cancer, we are also entering a team of four (The Pink Ladies) into the national Race for Life 5K fundraising event organised by Cancer Research UK. Funds raised from these events are used to research all 200 types of cancer. To date, The Pink Ladies team has raised £200. To donate, visit our fundraising page today.
