Artwork Guidelines
Artwork Requirements
To ensure your custom badges print crystal clear, your uploaded files must meet our technical guidelines. Because we offer a print-only service without custom design alterations, please check the following:
- Vector files preferred: High-resolution PDFs, .ai (Adobe Illustrator) or .eps formats.
- Raster files: High-resolution .png or .jpg files accepted at a minimum of 600 dpi. Low-resolution web graphics may result in blurry prints.
- Bleed/safe zones: Leave a small margin around any text and badge graphics, then a further margin to allow for artwork crimping around the badge back.
- Resolution: minimum 600dpi

Product Description
Can you design my badges for me?
No, we provide an exclusive manufacturing and printing service. We do not offer in-house design or modification. The artwork you upload (or email) is the exact artwork that will be printed on your badges.
What happens if there is an issue with my uploaded artwork?
We will flag any issues at the approval stage. Your artwork will be rejected and you will be advised to correct any issues.
Can I email my artwork later?
You can absolutely do this. Ideally, we prefer that your artwork is submitted with your order; however, we appreciate this might not always be possible, in which case please email the artwork through as soon as possible.
When will I receive my order?
Do you offer bulk discounts for larger orders?
Yes! Our pricing calculator automatically applies bulk discounts. The larger your quantity, the lower the cost per badge.Â
What is a “bleed zone”, and why do I need it for badge printing?
When a badge is pressed, the edges of your artwork are wrapped around the metal badge back. A “bleed zone” is the extra margin on your artwork (note, it should be the same background colour or pattern) that extends past the edge of the visible badge circle.Â
This ensures that even with slight movements during manufacturing, your badges won’t end up with an accidental white border or the metal back showing.
