Can I really turn a profit selling custom badges and keyrings?

Yes! Badge making is well-known for having very low unit costs and high profit margins. A single badge or keyring often costs just pence to produce in terms of components and paper, but can retail for £2 to £4+ depending on your design and target market. This makes them ideal impulse-buy items at checkout counters, market stalls or in online shops.

Can I make products other than standard pin badges for my shop?

Yes! With a single eBadges machine, you can make over 10 different items to sell or use for promotional purposes, including:

How long does delivery take?

We offer free delivery on orders over £120 (UK only) if you order before 1pm (Mon-Fri, not including bank holidays). For orders via courier, we aim for delivery the following working day. Read our delivery info for full details.

How do I cut my artwork efficiently for large batches?

To save time during production, we strongly recommend using one of our rotary circle cutters. They are fully adjustable to cut your artwork to the exact size required for any of our machine dies, saving you from cutting circles out by hand with scissors! Each cutter comes with a Perspex cutting board to protect your surfaces, too.

Can we buy extra components without buying a new machine?

Yes, absolutely. Once you’ve purchased your eBadges machine, you can buy component packs and refills completely separately to top up your supplies when you need it.

We stock everything from standard pin badges to super-safe badge packs, replacement paper and mylar discs. You can also buy interchangeable dies for your machine, which will allow you to make products in a range of sizes.

Do your component packs contain everything we need?

Yes – each component pack, whether it’s badges, mirrors or fridge magnets (or a mixed pack), contains everything you need to make that item. You’ll get metal fronts, your chosen backs (such as safety-backs, mirrors or magnets) and the clear plastic (mylar) discs to protect your designs. All you need to do is supply the artwork!

What paper can we use for artwork?

Anything between 80-100 gsm is best. Standard printer paper is ideal – it’s not so thin you can see the metal back, but it’s not so thick that it will jam the machine. You can also use wrapping paper or even thin fabric to create designs, but anything too thick will jam the machine, so don’t use craft paper, photo paper or card, for example.

Can I use my existing logo or artwork for the designs?

Yes, as long as it fits the dimensions of the product size you choose. We provide a free artwork size guide template to help you format your logos, patterns or custom artwork so they line up perfectly before you print and cut them.

Can I easily transport my eBadges machine to pop-up events, markets and craft fairs?

Absolutely! While our machines are very durable and made of solid metal, they are also compact and easy to transport, and will fit neatly on your stall or table.

Many of our customers take their machines to live craft events, pop-ups, or workshops so customers can watch their badges being pressed live or even make their own custom keepsakes on the spot.
