Take 2 tubes of toilet paper rolls, one will be used as a cap and with the other you will build the container. Cover them with a film that looks like wood.

2. Make your own badges, key rings, magnets and more with a badge machine

Instructions : Buy a ribbon (about 40/50 centimetres) and two hooks – glue the hooks to the lace with instant glue.

4. Desk storage box – to get rid of the clutter

The office is often one of the messiest places in the house. A box by itself won’t solve the problem, but boxes as beautiful as the ones in the photo can be an incentive to tidy up and move from a messy place to a Nordic-style corner that will be the centerpiece of your home.

Instructions : There are two possibilities. Recycle old wooden boxes (wine crates); Or build your own wooden boxes with wooden strips and white glue – Decorate them with geometric patterns in the same colour, that contrasts with the colour of the wood (if the boxes are dark, you can use white or light grey; if they are light, you can use a bright colour or black).

5. Patchwork apron – for kitchens

If you are looking for kitchen gifts,  you will probably like this apron. You can personalise it to your taste with different designs.

Instructions : The apron can be white, grey or black to give it a more masculine touch – Decide which patterns you want to print in the apron, draw them on the apron or on a piece of paper and get the necessary coloured fabrics – Cut and sew the fabrics on the apron with the desired shapes – You can give a special touch to the apron by changing the apron stripes for new leather ones.

6. A Babylonian garden in a fruit box – for an initiation to plants

7. Wall clock with a vinyl record – for those who love retro style

Do you still have old vinyl records at home? Here is an original idea for a wall clock. Make an amazing clock in a kitchen, with a retro look.

Instructions: mark the numbers on the disc (we recommend self-adhesive numbers as the grooves can be irregular which would make it difficult to use a marker). Use a clock mechanism that you will place on the disc by updating the hands.

8. Painted mugs

Porcelain markers have been one of the most successful innovations in recent years. The personalised mugs are a handmade gift you will always love. Choose a fun motif such as the moustache, a cactus or write a motivating sentence in nice letters.

Instructions: choose the design you want to draw on the mug (it should be light and smooth) – try it on a piece of paper before painting the mug. A box of 6 porcelain markers costs about 10 euros.
